Meet Our Founder
Alexandra (“Alex”) Lucille Espinosa, Founder & CEO of Ameribrights, is on a mission to redefine education and help others by transforming how education is approached and experienced. As someone of Cuban-American descent, Alex understands the value of education and the importance of overcoming obstacles. She became the first in her family to attend college and pursue a career in law. Her educational background includes a BA in Political Science from Rutgers University, studying abroad at Charles University in Prague, a JD from Fordham Law, and an LLM from New York University.
Alex’s journey was filled with challenges, particularly navigating college and law school admissions without guidance. Her time studying abroad at Charles University in Prague broadened her perspective and helped her to understand the importance of global education. Her passion for educational access was further strengthened through her roles in the banking and financial services space, where she learned the importance of financial literacy.
Witnessing friends struggle with admissions applications and the high costs of bar review courses, Alex saw the need for a more personalized and effective educational solution. Traditional programs often fail to recognize individual learning differences. Driven by her personal journey, professional experiences, and unwavering dedication, Alex founded Ameribrights to address these issues and bring her vision to life.
Outside of Ameribrights, Alex is a devoted board member at Traffick Free, a Chicago-based nonprofit dedicated to combating human trafficking. Her faith as a Catholic also guides her commitment to service and ethical principles in her work.
